Pinned tabs disappears when opening new private window and closing first the normal firefox window

more options

I'm using 128.0.3 (64-bit) for Windows, on Windows 10.

1. I open Firefox normal window. It has some pinned tabs. 2. I open an additional private window 3. I close the normal Firefox window. Only the private window remains 4. I close also the private window 5. I restart Firefox normal window. The pinned tabs have disappeared.

Thank you. Adrian

Hi Adrian, yes, you can't close the window with the pinned tabs unless it is the very last Firefox window before Firefox closes. But hopefully you can get it back using the menu. Either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > History > Recently Closed Windows
  • optional "Library" toolbar button > History > Recently Closed Windows
  • (optional menu bar) History > Recently Closed Windows
  • Ctrl+Shift+N to reopen the last closed regular window

Can you recover it from there?
