Hi Recently I've had emails go into junk folder, despite having, for years, had my settings such that NOTHING went into junk. That's all changed recently & I now have to check my junk folder, which is a pain (have posted another question about this), but having found some emails in junk folder & marked them not as junk, they've gone back into inbox, but some of them (not all) don't match the subject/sender. One in particular, has the body from a quite old email, that I still have in my inbox, although it's quite old as I still need to action it. Before you tell me.... generally I move emails from inbox to other subfolders & try to keep number of emails in inbox to a manageable level, although currenlty 401

As a result of this, I'm unable to actually read the email that went into the junk folder.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder.

Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder
