Firefox Scam that has neccesitated complete removal and reinstall of win 11 on new PC

more options

On my new Scorptec rtx A2000 workstation installed Firefox and Thunderbird and for 2days everything was fine apart from the annoying notice that came up every time I opened Firefox as me to make it the default browser ,which i turned off. however about the next day another window appeared in upper right corner of the screen that looked very authentic with the Firefox Logo and screen colors which stated that I had not yet fully activate all options in Firefox. on opening it there were 4 options to tick off .

First was making it default browser which ticked

Then there were 3 highly recommended extensions with reviews of each and a quoted number of users that highly recommended them second was enabling an Anti Key stroke Logger app which I ticked third I think gave them full access to PC which I ignored Last i cant remember but I ticked as it looked harmless. Within an hour the Firefox screen turned white and was activated by

quick-hp.com//?path=firefox/ then more info etc.

Just incase the have installed a key logger etc have decided on full removal and reinstall of win11 etc Be Warned

How's it a Firefox browser issue as I don't myself recall the Browser making any recommendation for user. So if so were did you see these recommendation at? This sounds more like user caused by clicking on malware or going to malware laden sites and not being aware of what sites they are going to or what possible flaws to be hacked.
