Can't click-n-drag bookmarks or folders in sidebar

more options

I've just installed Xubuntu 10.04 and it comes with Firefox 3.6. I managed to import all of my bookmarks perfectly but when I tried to re-arrange them manually by click-n-dragging them in the sidebar the only thing that happens is that Firefox opens the bookmark I've just clicked on. Same thing happens with the bookmarks library. Same also happens with the bookmark folders.

Not entirely sure about this but could it have something to do with the amount of bookmarks? The HTML file I imported is roughly 25 megabytes.

Same problem with Kubuntu 10.04. I am trying to drag bookmarks and folders around my toolbar, the sidebar, and even in "organize bookmarks" and nothing will move.

I had the same problem on Windows XP running version 3.6.3.

It turns out that the Launchy app for windows was messing with my click and drag everywhere. Not sure if Gnome-Do has the same problem on Ubuntu.

I have the same problem with clicking and dragging pictures onto the desktop as well as clicking and dragging bookmarks.
