"Show my windows and tabs from last time" doesn't work in version 3.6.8
I select "Show my windows and tabs from last time" on Options window - General panel at "when firefox starts", but it only opens my home page every time I start up firefox.
I tried this on two different computers. Both of them have the same problem.
It worked fine in the previous versions, but it doesn't work in version 3.6.8.

If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in Firefox 3.5 and later to clear the 'Browsing History' when Firefox is closed then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.

Thanks. It's working fine now.
I am afraid I don't understand Cor-el's solution. It may be the right answer but I am not sure how to apply it. If it helps, these are the reasons I am confused. 1) I don't ever use " Clear Recent History" under Tools so I don't know how it effect my problem. 2) My Firefox is rarely closed unless it is required to close for a software up date. 3) I am not sure how you would use " clear recent history" if Foxfire were closed, is there a way to delay the activation or to have it done on a pre-scheduled basis.
Could another program be causing the same problem, a house keeping program that cleans " unnecessary" files and fragments?
I do hope you can clarify my confusion. I would like to have the " show my windows and tabs " function working again.

It is about this setting:
Tools > Options > Privacy : History: [X] Clear history when Firefox closes > Settings
If the Browser History is cleared then restoring tabs doesn't work.
Cleanup programs like CCleaner can remove files in the Firefox Profile Folder. The latest CCleaner has an option on the Application tab to remove session data, so check that if you use CCleaner.
