the web address has the "en-US" in it, so I know that it thinks I am speaking English in the US, but it & youtube are in Dutch; I've checked virus, updated, and uninstalled/reinstalled & it's still Dutch
My firefox/mozilla homepage in in Dutch, though the web address says that it is in English and I am in the US. I figured out how to change the language/ location settings, but United States wasn't available for an option. I settled for UK english, but it is still in Dutch & I am still in the Netherlands. I have run every virus program I have and could get, I have installed the latest version of firefox, in English. I thought that would take care of it, but the language says Eng; the site is in Dutch. I just uninstalled Firefox. Then I reinstalled it. I was hopeful when it said that it would be in US English. It still in Dutch. I tried to use IE to post a video from youtube to my facebook page, but it wouldn't post. My youtube page is in Dutch no matter which browser I use (I don't have a youtube account). I have tried everything I can think of and really don't want to have to stop using firefox, but if I can't fix it...oh, and I also ran a virus check on firefox. It's clean. Please help!!!!!!!

The default Firefox home page is a branded Google page. You can change the home page to http://www.google.com/ncr and it will not re-direct to any other language version. See how to set the home page.
If you have problems with Google re-directing you to another language version, see http://www.google.com/support/websearch/bin/answer.py?answer=873
