Surely there has to be someone out there besides me that this has happened to???

This is something else that I can't seem to get an answer out of this forum unless I beg for it.

I was right in the middle of something important, looked up to open the page in IE so that I could use HP Printer before printing something and all buttons gone again. Is there anyone out there who might know the problem?
