I just got the latest update for Firefox to 3.6.14. I have always been able to use Firefox to play games on Pogo.com. After the update today I can get into the site but 90% of the games won't upload. Pogo says in their help pages: Mozilla has a documented bug filed for Java support in Firefox 3.6.14. Since many Pogo games run on Java technology, this is obviously impacting those Pogo customers who are attempting to play their games with the latest version of the browser. Is this being addressed and if so what time frame are we looking at? Pogo suggest other browsers but I prefer mozilla above the others. Tbank you, Susan

Chosen solution

You can go back to 3.6.13 by downloading and running the 3.6.13 installer, you can get it from http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.6.13/win32/en-US

If you install 3.6.13, the next update you will be notified of is 3.6.15

I can't get in again either today. I uninstalled Java and reinstalled. A few of my friends are having the same problem with it so it has to be at their end. I tried two other computers in my house....one desk top is getting into web site games and lap top and other desk top is not. I wrote to Pogo and they said they are working on the problem.

This issue appeared out of the blue for me, just a week or so ago. Had nothing to do with downloading the latest FF update. Pogo was tinkering again with how their games load, is my assessment. Who knows--maybe they are getting paid by Google to push the Chrome browser. Boggle is the only game I play there, and it suddenly wouldn't load specific rooms in a simple pop-up window anymore and was trying to open in a different way. I tried their "chat" help, two times, and they were pretty unhelpful, beyond telling me to check my Java updates, and clear caches. ...I did this, and nothing changed.

I updated to Firefox 4.0, and nothing changed. In fact, upon uploading 4.0, several things on my PC are stated to now be incompatible: some RealPlayer thing, IE tabs, my ebay toolbar, and I think an ad blocker of some sort.

I just tried to search for perhaps an updated IE Tab add-on here, so that I might still use FF but just use the IE Tab for my Boggle, ...but you have to give a $5 donation to download the newest IE Tab add-on!

Looks like I have no choice but to turn to the darkside and use IE, if I want to play my game, which I do about every day.

WHY do they have to keep f***ing with Firefox?!! Firefox used to be cool...but I feel they are becoming as compromised as the rest of them lately.

I will add that the issue appears to be only with some games at Pogo. I am able to enter the Scrabble rooms, which opened the same way the Boggle boards used to -- with a simple pop-up window.

Also, it seems you can enter a random temporary Boggle room, with the usual pop up window; however it is the selecting of specific Boggle game rooms that tries to utilize this 'new' way of opening games, which is causing the issues.

At 4PM Eastern time my Pogo started to work with Java. I really think it is a Pogo thing and not Firefox because I couldn't get it working on Chrome or IE. I choose not to use IE for sure but Chrome is a bit faster than Firefox I just don't like their format. I hope everyone is up and running soon.

Since the update I have had this problem & I have been posting all over hoping someone can help. I play on the Pogo.com game site. As the game itself opens in its pop-up window it starts to shrink so that the game is cut off, so no access to chat, scroll bar etc etc ... & the games unplayable. I attached a picture of the new sized window over what it was and should be window. I don't like IE, & to be truthful I dislike Chrome much more, alot more. Pogo is no help, they even did a remote scan. I even tried a system restore,,nope. I found that error console in my tools but I don't speak javascript..I have even copied from there to postings hoping someone could help. Please...please tyty

I have found in the last few hours, more things to try but I got wondering ... if the private browser mode doesn't change or save anything then it shouldn't be having this problem ... so I thought I'd try that ...& I'll be darned it worked like a charm BUT the pop -up window w/ the game is now a lot smaller now.. but in this mode it can actually load the game to this reduced size. but why ..out of the blue is the window's size changing at all??? Also as this is a pop-up window it has no actual controls/options for me to fix it so how could it have been changed ?? So this private browser is ok to run all the time in this mode??? I'm so happy that it's working but would still like to get it fixed correctly,,,thanks for the help
