Go to Option > Application > Look for music extensions > Select "save file" or "always ask"

After that, whenever you download those extensions, you can choose where to save, and you can also choose a default destination.

Hello, Qool!! Ive found Option>Application but i just cant find music extensions? While on the genral (page) it says downloads and ive changed it to "save files to" my music and that dont seem to be working either. Ive just tryed to downloading from Soundcloud again and its still going to my media player.

Just check your music files and see what the extensions are. Go to Control Panel > Folder and Search Option > Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types". That way you can see the extensions at the end of the file names.

Then go to Firefox Option > Application and look for those extensions. You may have to scroll down. Highlight the extension you want. On the far right there's a drop down menu that you can choose specific actions. Choose "Always ask" or "save file".

The default download destination under general tab only works if you choose to download the files.
