is there a way to retrieve my old (sync'd) bookmarks from a lost/stolen device?

I had firefox sync working on my laptop and home PC. However, the laptop was stolen and I stupidly reformatted my PC without backing up my bookmarks. I've gone into the sync settings but there doesnt seem to be anyway to retrieve the bookmarks. Am I missing something or is this impossible?

Hi Shaliru!

Unfortunately Sync is not intended as a back up service and if you delete the bookmarks from the main computer this would disappear from your Sync account too.

Next time, make sure that you keep a bookmarks back-up before formatting your computer.
