[Solved] Firefox 4.0 can't access the internet, but Explorer can. Windows firewall is disabled, Avast is disabled, and neither has firefox blocked. Uninstall and reinstall does not cure the problem.

Never mind, found Avast AV was corrupt, uninstall / reinstall brought firefox back to the internet. Thanks to all those who would have answered if they had seen this while it was still a problem. :-)
