icons and text in firefox 5 are black and grey. How to change this! why is this!
Last week firefox sent me a message saying to 'upgrade' from firefox 3.5 to 5 as 3.5 was no longer supported and was unsafe from malware. I liked 3.5 but was afraid not to download to 5 so I did. I see no improvement. As well all the text and icons at the top in the top toolbars [menu bar, etc] no longer have the pleasant colors. Instead, they are all black and grey. Really unsavory and unfinished looking. How can I change these colors. I really do not want an add on or some big deal. I just want to change the colors, not do some theme or persona. I work on my computer, am an older person and don't need alot of nonsense. Please give your answer in terms a novice can understand as I was not raised with computers. Thank you very much. As well, can you tell me how this version is an improvement over 3.5 so I can find and enjoy these features. Thank you.

The Default Firefox color scheme has always been light-Grey Toolbars and Black Text.
There are many simple Personas available too. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/personas/

My computer already has an overloaded memory. Is it possible to change the toolbar icons from black and grey to something pleasant without having to get an add on or some theme? Firefox 3.5 had pretty colors, without my having to do anything, so am not understanding why you say black and grey has always been the default. That is not correct. Thanks for the link but that only took me to a page that gave add-ons. To me the so called upgrade has been a downgrade.
I am using firefox 5. These tips are for 3 and 4. Again, at the insistance of Mozilla I downloaded 5. In my view, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Firefox 3.5 worked the same, or better, didn't have the confusing tabs above the address bar, and had pretty colors for the icons and text in the toolbar, instead of depressing black and grey.
