Everytime I download Firefox and then try to run it, I get a "file corrupted" message.

After downloading Firefox 6, I have tried to run Firefox 6 on three different computers and each time I get a message "file is corrupt". I tried it on different computers because I thought maybe there was a problem with the computer that I downloaded it on, but I get the same result. What am I doing wrong?

Are you downloading from Mozilla. http://www.mozilla.org/

yes I did. I thought maybe it was internet explorer that was the problem but I was able to get google chrome which is what I am now using. I would prefer to use Firefox. I used to have it but had to re do my machine and now cannot get it to work when it is downloaded. As a matter of fact on one machine I am using Firefox 5 but when I try to upgrade to Firefox 6 I get the 'corrupted file' message on that machine as well.

As a matter of fact I tried to download Thunderbird for my Firefox computer and also got a 'corrupted file' message after it was downloaded and I tried to run it.
