How do I find the directory where my bookmarks are kept using windows explorer?
Neither firefox nor internet explorer work anymore on my administrator account, but internet explorer works on my guest account. Perhaps a virus caused this. But windows explorer works fine. Computer is so fouled up I want to just buy a new one, better and cheaper than fixing the old one.
I need to locate my firefox bookmarks and need to know how to transfer them into the new computer.

Why are you not using latest firefox 7?

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
