In Maxthon (Mx2.5.8) I am able to place bookmark folders on a toolbar...similar to the FF7 bookmark toolbar. These folders can hold many bookmarks. For example, I have specific bookmark folders for specific web sites: Fishing folder for fishing web sites, etc. So, when I come across a fishing web site and want to save it in its appropriate folder, I will left click on the fishing folder on the toolbar and within the dropdown menu is "Add to this folder." Then to save the site all I have to do is left click "Add to this folder." In FF7 I'dlike to be able to do the csame thing. That is, I already have imported and placed on the FF's bookmark toolbar my bookmark folders from Mx, and now would like to have a way to place wanted to save web sites directly into its appropriate bookmark folder...ala Mx.

Chosen solution

In Firefox you can drag'n'drop to save a new bookmark to the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Drag the website image in the URL bar down to that folder, and the folder should open, then drop the bookmark where you want it within that folder.

Yeah, that worked. Dragged the url icon. Is there any way to do this with gestures or without having to drag?
