I do not know if this is what you are thinking of, but when firefox starts up you have the choice of starting with the last lot of pages, or starting with one or more pages you set as a home page. Additionally Firefox stores your history, unless you disable it by using [[private browsing]] so that gives you another option for going back and reloading a web page.
