I updated my Gmail to the new format and now I cannot get Firefox to open.  I get a message saying:  "The instruction at 0x1000865a referenced memory at 0x1000865a. The memory could not be read."

I have disabled ad-ons and have tried opening in safe mode to no avail.

That is a problem with the Flash plugin.

Try to update the Flash plugin to the latest version.
