Each time I open up Firefox 8 four to five of my addons open a tab and thank me for upgrading their addon even though those addons were upgraded a while back. Then I have to manually close each of those tabs every time. It's a nuisance. -- Thanks, Steve
When I open up Firefox several addons such as ReminderFox open up a tab that keeps thanking me for upgrading even though the addon was upgraded weeks ago. I can't find where to turn this off.

Hi Cor-el,
Thank you for your reply but I'm afraid this doesn't answer my question. The problem is not that Firefox opens up a tab and thanks me for updating, it's that several of my add-ons including Foxclocks, IE Tab 2, and several others send me that very message. So everytime I open of Firefox, 4-5 separate tabs open from each of these add-ons thanking me for upgrading even though the upgrading happened days or weeks ago. Then I have to close each tab every time by x-ing out of them. Is there any fix for this?
Thanks, Steve
That can still be a problem with the preferences.
Did you try that?
