when I try to open emails from Gmail in Firefox they do not show, don't have this problem if I open it in IE. Any help with this?

Emails in the inbox are displayed normally, however when I try to open an email, it is as if there is nothing there.. print screens below:

Are you using Adblock Plus?

There's an ABP filterlist that is blocking too much in Gmail. Disable ABP at Gmail to verify that is the problem.

updated, still the same

turned off ABP and it works! now to find which filters are for Gmail...

EDIT: Disabled all filters with mail.google and still nothing.. I'll try unticking anything with google now

EDIT: Deleted subscriptions and added new ones. Now it works:

Since you don't know what is it I doubt you use it, and I doubt it is the cause of your problem.
