Opening a new tab.
Hello,
How do I set it up so that I get Google.com when I open a new tab in Firefox? When I launch Firefox, I DO get google as my home page- It's only when I hit a "new tab" that I get a blank page and I have to hit the "Home" button to get google. FYI- I just downloaded the new 8.0.1 Version of Firefox hoping to have success that way but no such luck.
Thanks,
Lee Massie
BTW- I use Windows 7 on a PC not Mac.

The default New Tab in Firefox is a blank page and there is no built-in option to change that.
CTRL+left-click the Home icon will open a new tab to your set home page.
- See --> http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page
- the default Firefox home page is about:home (brings up the Google Search page)
This Add-on will open a new tab when clicking the new tab "+" icon (or when clicking New Tab from the menu) to whatever page you set in the options for the add-on:
