Firefox crashes
Hello, firefox crashes after the first start after a installation in every version I've tested (3.6.25; 9.0.1; 10.0 beta). The problem also exists in the safe mode of firefox and it was detected the first time after a upgrade of the java plugin (as mentioned the problem also exists in safe mode, so the plugin could not be the mistake).
It is impossible to start firefox, except I uninstall it and with the reinstallation it works only 1(!) time.
This game i can play with every version and it's reproducable. With firefox portable it's the same.
Because the Computer is a Company-Pc it's impossible to delete McAffee Anti-Vir etc. Suite, which is always up to date. I was not able to find the siteadvisor-app from McAffee.
Now I've installed Firefox for almost 4 years on this machine, and now the problem exists, I'm sorry to contact you, but this is my only chance to get help anymore. I also have tested the knowledge base, but I was in no way successful.
I'm also sorry for my bad English, I come from Austria
I thank you in advance (for any questions you can contact me all the time),
Yours sincerly

Chosen solution
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Hallo gersch112,
Your first crashreport is empty. I found your second crashreport here:
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/bp-28abdc4b-384e-477e-af06-d6df42111225
This seems to be related to something called Digital Guardian from Verdasys Inc.
DgApiMon Dynamic Link Library - DgApi.dll
Hello knorretje,
at first of all, thank you for your anwer.
I didn't find the DgApi.dll- File. (It was not in the Win\System32\-directory, and windows search didn't find it.)
But maybe you can help me with this log. (The description I found here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_WinDbg) and in the log is also the DgApi.dll involved.
I don't know how I can let you see the log, because it's a little bit long and I was not able to put a log to this thread.
Bye gersch112
