Hey bjrec,

There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. Maybe if you give some details as to what issue you are having, someone here can help you. You should also consider leaving feedback for the developers so that they can continue to improve the product.

If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article Install an older version of Firefox.

Support for Firefox 3.6 will be ending soon; no more updates. Downgrading is possible, but is not advisable at this late date.

If you do not like the look/layout of current Firefox versions, you can make it look more like Firefox 3.6:
