Cannot see Vimeo videos in Firefox 9.0.1 on Windows 2000 (SP4). This is so whether they are on Vimeo's website or embedded elswhere.

Have cleared cache and restarted in Safe Mode with all add-ons dissabled.

First discovered the problem on the following page, but have looked at various pages on Vimeo's site.

Hi cor-el: I get an empty page when I follow the link.

So, there is no player loaded as well if you right-click on that page?

That sounds that your OS doesn't support that video player.

I think you must have missed my earlier comment that the video does play on MS-IE on this machine. (BTW v6 on Win2000) So the OS does seem to support the player, but yes it does not load in Firefox.

Is IE using the same Flash Player version as Firefox?

Cor-el: As previous posted Firefox reports - Shockwave Flash, Version: 11.1.102.55, Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102

Unfortunately, my skills exclude knowing how to find out which version IE is running, but from my perspective I have done nothing to cause them to use different versions. If anything IE will be on an older one as I rarely use it and these days MS have left Win2000 and IE6 behind.

Are you sure you installed ONLY the 32 bit Flash Player and not the full pack with 32/64 bit versions together?

And are you able to play a Flash game like these ones on http://armorgames.com/ ? (try one)

Cor-el: Installation was automated from my perspective.

Not really into games, but selected one of them and completed the first few levels with no player problems.

As I said in my initial posting. Flash worksd fine on YouTube, Daily Motion and others. Just have problems with Vimeo. I have used safe mode and a new profile, but they don't resolve the problem. It is not a life and death matter, but I was hoping someone had seen the problem before and knew of a quick fix.
