When I start Firefox, my selected start page does not show; FunMoods.com shows up as Http://srart.funmoods.com and I cannot get rid of it. I've gone to help/troubleshooting and deleted it from the menu but it still shows up. At the same time I got this problem, I started getting windows saying javascript had problems. I also disabled 2 javascript addons from the troubleshooting site. Again, that did not help, I still get the javascript messages - up to 10 at a time. Everytime I press OK, the next one pops up. Even after the javascript windows appear and I have delt with them, much - but no all - of the time, my tabs do n ot work and I have to shut Firefox down and start all over again. This is very annoying. Hope someone can help my. I dred going back to Internet Explorer.

Chosen solution

I tried changing the "home page" option inside the Tools->general, but it only works for couple days, and the home page goes back to Funmoods. This problem start happening after I installed the latest FireFox 10.0

It is very frustrating to keep going back and restore my home page. Is this a "feature" of the firefox?

Just removed Funmoods from the Manage-Addons, and if it does not solve the problem, I am switching back to IE.

Hi,

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article How to set the home page. Your homepage might have been changed by a particular site. Sites like MSN, Yahoo, etc have been know to ask to become your homepage.

There are steps in that article to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. If that works, you can try setting your homepage again to your personal preference.

If that doesn't work you should look at the article Preferences not saved.

Finally, your issue may be because you've been hit with some Malware.

Hopefully this helps!

Again, I already stated in my original posting that I know how to change the startup page. I have been doing it for the last month! Evey couple days, the Funmoods automatically switch my home page back...this is very frustrated!

I "removed" Funmoods from my "Manage Addins"->"Extensions", and hope that it never come back again. Otherwise, I will completely uninstall firefox from all my laptops.
