I have Windows 7 and use Outlook 2003 and use them on several computers, but after wiping out my desk top computer and reinstalling everything, now every time I hit a link on an email I get a window asking to local the link browser. Then it stalls for a long time. What can I do to fix this? Also when trying to open the link, it stays in the background and I have to put Outlook on the taskbar to view the linked webpage

Chosen solution

It should apply to Windows 7 as well. It is likely to be caused by DDE being enabled for Firefox.

All I know is it looking for locating the link browser and it opens up in My Documents. What came through was for helping Vista users. How does it work with Windows 7?

The information you supplied is a little advanced for me. My friend is coming over on Wednesday to try to correct the problem. The only other thing I think is after I reinstalled Spy Sweeper and actually had it updated to Secure Anywhere may also be causing some of the problems. Will let you know. Thanks.
