How do I make Read and Write 10 Gold work with Firefox? I have the latest Firefox 10.0.1 but it keeps saying "Please upgrade your version of Mozilla Firefox. The minimum version supported by Read&Write is version 3.0."

I just loaded Moxilla Firefox on my Windows 7 PC today and tried to use my Read and Write 10 Gold text help software but it just does not seem to work with this browser (works fine on Internet Explorer) as it keeps saying "Please upgrade your version of Mozilla Firefox. The minimum version supported by Read&Write is version 3.0." but this versions is higher than 3.0!

I am not in Fiefox 10 at the moment so can not test this directly.

  • see latest firefox issues_websites-say-i-need-to-update-firefox-but-im-on-the-latest-version_2
  • if this is a website, or the software has a website address are you able to say what that address is please

Post back with how you get on. If the problem is with the site not recognising the latest Firefox version we will need to contact the site.

Is the problem with software that you use with Firefox, if so it is probably up to the site providing such software to fix it so it will continue to work with this and the upcoming versions of Firefox. I know some people from Firefox are looking into problems that occur when sites themselves do not work with firefox, I will at least cross link this post to that discussion in case anyone reading that is able to offer you any advice.
