Where can I obtain a copy of FireFox 12.0

more options

FireFox 13 takes entirely too long to load Msn.com. I wish to go back to FireFox 12 until such a time as webpage loading problems with FireFox 13 and beyond are resolved.

Chosen solution

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here

While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Hi,

Please also check if the issue gets resolved in a new profile. If the new profile is okay, you can then Reset Firefox on the old (previous) profile via Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information.

Be aware that reset of Firefox also creates a new profile.

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I obtained a copy of FireFox 12.0, uninstalled FireFox 13.0 but left my preferences alone. Installed FireFox 12.0. Upon starting it, it automatically updated itself to FireFox 13.0. Very sneaky. Same problem with MSN.com. Oddly enough, MSN.com is the only website with which I have slow or failure to load problems. So, I have changed my Homepage to MyWay.com and set up links for Logging in to Hotmail. I will run this way untill FireFox upgrades itself out of my problem.
