Apple iMac PPC what Firfox Ver
I have an apple iMac PPC running OSX 10.5.8 Firefox version 3. Is there a newer version of Firefox that will run on my machine?
Chosen solution
I have been using Safari for years, so I thought maybe if I reloaded it . . . and GREAT, my bookmarks were all there! Saved, so I exported them to Firefox and also saved them to a flash stick.
Many thanks for your help, and the links. Interesting reading.

The last Firefox version that runs on a PowerPC Mac is Firefox 3.6.28
You can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
- Firefox 3.6.28: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
For an unofficial Firefox 10.0.6 ESR compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:
Plugins are no longer supported by TenFourFox.

I have upgraded to Firefox 3.6.28 and when asked if I wanted to replace an older version I hit yes . . . trouble is iv lost all my bookmarks. Can I retrieve them?
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file.

You can try to check and repair the places database with this extension:
