I've updated FF to 15.0.1; now there are no new tab boxes, and I cannot delete a tab with scroll wheel.

I'm using Windows XP. So, there used to be a little square box next to last tab opened that I could click on to open a new tab. Now I can only open a new tab if I double click on blank space next to last tab opened. And I used to be able to open a bunch of tabs, do what I needed to do, and then click center scroll of mouse down the line to delete what I no longer needed. Now the only way I can close tabs is to use the x on the right-hand side of the tab I'm currently on. But, sometimes it does work... Nothing has changed about how I have FF set up--just the update.

Chosen solution

You can open a new tab with Ctrl-t. You should be able to find the new tab button in the toolbar customize window. You can replace it. If the middle-click no longer removes a tab, you can use Ctrl-left-click.

Thank you for the answer about the customize window. That solved one problem. As far as the other issue, I've gone back to an earlier version of Firefox so that I can once again use center scroll to delete tabs.
