Version 15 of firefox ran an edit update screen which uses Javascripts to update information to database correctly. Version 16 does not update it and gives us the error that all the updated information should be numbers (same error we get when anyone is trying to google Chrome web browser). Ver 16 uses default Javascript enabled. Please advise what need to be done to correct this problem.

Which application or website is your issue related to? Or, which database?

MySQL is the DB that the hybrid application (written in php) uses to update the db fields in referee management system using FF v16 browser. Referees use the application to recertify themselves every year using the following FF browser. In ver 15 there was no problems and in ver 16 we get a problem that javascripts are not updating the fields due to the fact that browser is asking for numeric input of data supplied (our input is both numeric and alphanumeric). The error FF v16 shows is the same error as the Google Chrome browser does. I have a 64 bit laptop which uses Windows 7 premium home edition.

Sounds that there is code to validate the input data, either via JavaScript or via a something like a pattern in the input tag.
