I have Norton Toolbar 2013.2.3.1 installed on January 9, 2013

When I enable the Norton Toolbar on a Vista system, Firefox crashes when I exit Firefox.

However, I have a Windows 8 Pro laptop, with Firefox 18, and the identical Norton Toolbar--and this works fine.

Any clues

You may have to disable specific components in Norton that interact with Firefox.
Possible causes are Norton Confidential or Norton Identity Safe (coFFPlgn.dll) that are causing crashes.
You can check the crash signature by visiting cash ID links found on the about:crashes page.
