Why Firefox Sync is not simple as just getting User Name and Password and sync
- I want to Sync my browsing data (History, Book Marks) of Firefox by just Giving My User Name & Password
- I should be able to restore them by just authenticating with User Name, Password.
How ?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with how Chrome works relative to how Firefox Sync works.
The Sync Key (aka Recovery Key) is used to encrypt your as it leaves your PC and to decrypt your data as it arrives in another device which you have connected to that same Sync account. It's a security feature for your data when it is away from your connected devices.
I edited the original post bro.
All I need it decent way of keeping my browsing data. And restore them wherever I go.
Is there a way to do so ?

when you are near a pc with your mobile device you can simply pair the mobile device with the one time 12-digit code.
otherwise there is no way to access the account without the recovery key - this is because very sensitive date is stored with sync (all the passwords if you choose so, which will enable access to personal accounts etc.). therefore it is important that strong encryption is used to secure this data so only the legit owner can access it, which the recovery key will ensure. when people can choose passwords freely they tend to end up with week combinations most of the time...
Is there anyway to get you data on any other PC's Firefox ?
Chrome has this facility.
yes you can do that & this is explained in the help article i've linked to above.
Hmmm. I just wish it was much simpler and less pain in the back.
Thanks all of you
