Until some days ago I opened for example this link http://new.livestream.com/accounts/1605491/events/2075320 and the live stream started in the middle of the screen. Now I open the link and get a frozen picture with a triangle play symbol. When I touch the button it tells me the link has to be opened with an extra application and I can choose the Google video player. I extra installed FF because it could play the live stream. All other browsers I tried show the same behavior as FF now. I'm using Nexus 7 with Android 4.2.2. Please advise, thanks in advance.

Firefox can display some media on web pages such as images and open media like Ogg and WebM videos, it may need the help of media players and browser plugins for video, audio, and other content. Although you may have the correct media players installed to play video and audio files, you may be missing the necessary plugins when the media is embedded within the web page itself.

this website is not using html5 video that can stream within browser so you have to manually play with your android streaming media player

Sorry, but your answer is not helpful! As I wrote it worked (I guess until the last update), now does it not work anymore. With your explanation it could never have worked.
