I installed MS Office 2007, configured Outlook to use my mail client The Bat! , found it wasn't working, uninstalled Office, and now find that Mail-To This does nothing when I click on its button.

Twenty minutes later...... after not working all day, multiple reboots, running sfc /scannow, etc w/ no luck, I just tried the Mail-To This! button, and it now works ok -- opens The Bat for me. The only clue I have is that I opened The Bat to look at a saved message, closed it, re-opened FF and now the button works.

If anyone has any comments/ideas about what have happened ( maybe opening The Bat reset the FF Mail To This! association ?, or........ ? ), I'd love to hear from you.

Hey, we live in an enchanted world;)

Reminds me - this and a lot more frolm my own experience - somehow of Apolo 13 and their reaction to the meteorite hitting them.

I would react very probably like "D-d-didja hear that!?".

They, however, after years of operant conditioning, they just reported "Houston, we got a problem".
