Norton utilities claims version 24 has adware in it and will not show some URLs and disables other URLs.
after upgrading to version 24 Firefox for windows, the Norton tool bar is incompatible with Firefox, no big deal I did not like it anyway, disabled it. But when Norton Antivirus went and scanned my system it comes back with the message that Firefox has Adware in it and must be removed.
Firefox now will not correctly display some URLs that I use Particularly the WWW.wunderground.com ones and others are just disabled. These are ones that I use with my Weather-station hobby. I am not sending this from the machine that has Norton installed but my work machine, I can work on this later when I get home.

I have a newer version of Norton Internet security and Firefox was already selected correctly. Someone try again. Should I uninstall Firefox and reinstall it?
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 24: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.

Well the full removal and install of Firefox 24 got rid of Norton Utilities telling me that Firefox was infected with adware2. However I still have this problem with these three web sites that do not display correctly.

they display perfectly in IE8. So I do not believe that it is an issue with the website data.
any ideas folks on what is different?
