Hi Ideato,

Thanks for your reply, but it did not help much. My date n time are correct and the link you shared is not helping. How can i reset everything in Firefox back to default settings (the very first time i installed). I dont mind wiping everything i currently have on Firefox. I'm having other problems with firefox as well. Any suggestions that will work, will be appreciated.

Check the connection settings.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Have you added exceptions for any sites during the time you've had this problem?

If not, please disregard this post for now.

If yes, you can find, view, and later remove those from the Options dialog here:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Certificates mini-tab > "View Certificates" button

In the dialog, click the Servers tab to find any added exceptions. (Some of these ship with Firefox and are actually "do not trust" entries.)

The reason for visiting here is to spot any pattern that would reveal the cause of the problem. Click the View button for the certificates you added, and check the Issuer section. For example, FiddlerRoot is known to be associated with Sendori so you could specifically search out and remove that software.
