We need a hint about what might be causing this. Is Firefox opening up to your home page, or to some kind of software update information, or to an advertisement?

In addition to the thorough list generated by Autoruns, you also might check the Task Scheduler.

  • Windows Vista/7: Start button > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Task Scheduler
