Keeps downloading multipule copies of the same messages

I disabled email scanning in Norton but this didn't cure it, each time I open it or request new email it downloads several emails that already exist and downloads several copies of them.

Can you try rebuilding the database?

  1. Right click your email folder on the left and select properties.
  2. A new window should show, click Repair Folder.

Does that work?

That didn't work, it appears to be the same emails are being downloaded.
