Can't access Gmail. Says: "Verify New Email Address" however I can access it with Google Chrome.

In Firefox I can no longer access my Gmail account. When I click on Gmail from my Google home page it gives me this:

Hi,

I've obfuscated your e-mail address to protect your privacy.
Have you tried to clear the cookies for Gmail?

  • Click the Firefox button > Options > Privacy > Remove individual cookies > Search for mail.google.com or gmail.com and remove those cookies.
  • Restart Firefox and try to load your account again.
