Program menu is not working.
Pressing the menubar titled "Firefox", no drop-down menu appears. Last time this happened, remedy was to restart the window-manager called awesome.

./firefox -safe-mode does no difference
Firefox reset, made menubar working until next restart of firefox. Version affected: 28 and 31 atleast.
Is there a reason you are using the Firefox button instead of the global menu built into Unity.
By the way, what distro are you using? It's hard to tell from your UA.
Does this also happen in other programs? Have you reset the preferences? It looks like you did, but it happens again. Why do you have two installations of Shockwave?
* Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202
- Shockwave Flash 11.0 d1
If you disable one of them after resetting, does the issue still persist? Also after you reset, please try a virus scan.
Strange thing, just tested with iceweasel and it has no problems with pop-up menus, menubars or keystrokes.
Iceweasel 24.4.0
Linux/debian: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.51-1 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Window manager: awesome 3.4.13-1
Is it hard to compile firefox? If so I could perhaps add heavy debug logging.
