I have Firefox version 25.0 for windows 7, the browser keeps updating to the new version of 29.0, I hate the way it looks, even with the settings set to not update, It updates any way. This is pissing me off. its does it every day I open firefox, then i just reinstall the older version.

so is there another way that I can make it stop updating to the version (other then just go with the new version). Under Tools-Options box - i have it set to not update.

Hi dak385, This update was an update to fix some of the issues that were in the Firefox 29 release. I do not recommend using an older version of Firefox. However in order to disable updates you can see if there is a preference that will not save. How to fix preferences that won't save
