Firefox is my browser - I accumulated many Bookmarks of websites I frequent often - my PC was not functioning as it should and so I switched browsers to google chrome. When I came back to Firefox later, all my bookmarks were gone -I lost them all, even the links to my email boxes. I am still struggling to find some of them. What to do to prevent this from happening again?

Did you previously uninstall Firefox and have removed personal data? If that is the case then you lost the bookmarks. Otherwise you should still have the Firefox profile folder with your personal data.

You can make a backup of your bookmarks and other personal data.
