How do I remove any adware, especially the one called Saver Box, from Firefox?

When I use Firefox and use Overstock, Ebay or the like, I get this banner ad listing it "from Saver, box". I've been able to remove it from Internet Explorer, but I can't figure out how to do it for Firefox. Also, if there's a general way to remove Firefox adware that you can let me know, that would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, please take a look at:

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Removing adware/malware depends on the type. In some cases you simply need to remove an extension and reset some values in about:config. Most however, need to be removed with tools like MalwareBytes and AdwCleaner.
