Search tool (CTR+F)
Hi All,
Is it possibile to fix this issue in searching tool ?
I can not overwrite searched text in editing windows to text in bufer.
Example :
We have some text in editing windows on website, then we press CTR+F and search the text , then FF found this text and put to this text green color . Then I go to another website and copied to the buffer some text. Then i go to previously site to editing window and the searched text have blue color and i can press CTR+V and text overwrite to text from buffer . This trick works only in FF 24.0
Higher version of FF then 24.0 this trick don't works
Chosen solution
I think you need to press Ctrl+F again to focus the find bar when you return to the earlier page, and then press Ctrl+V.
There are some extensions that change how the Find Bar works and maybe one of them works more like Firefox 24 and earlier. I can't recall testing these, but you could take a look:
- FindBar Tweak: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/findbar-tweak/
- GlobalFindBar: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/globalfindbar/
