When I use icloud.com in firefox and i click on an email (NOT the attachments), the attachments automatically open/save, etc. How do I stop this? Again, this happens when I click on the email message, not the attachment itself.

Thank You.

Firefox is just a browser. It does what it is told to do. By the user, or instructions from the web site. Go to the sites settings panel.
