Firefox crashes but my plug in says the shockwave is up to date
I make books on Snapfish and these crashes seem to always happen when my photobooks are loading. I am not computer savvy !Report ID Date Submitted bp-169f7a97-9da9-4dc3-ac3c-e16e82150210 2/10/2015 12:09 PM f2a960bf-802e-4f2d-a5db-31d52a026c1e 2/4/2015 8:24 PM 06c1c324-60a8-4845-9f65-f5fee0bc9c52 2/3/2015 8:16 AM bp-9dc544bd-bbbb-47e5-ac16-87f812150117 1/16/2015 9:04 PM bp-a808b6e4-f65c-4617-b720-d2c622150117 1/16/2015 9:02 PM c4342ce6-9061-4fe1-996a-a01641c0c2b6 1/16/2015 8:48 PM 47adf19e-9ee1-48ff-bb89-3c54b3117c5e 1/16/2015 8:47 PM bp-900d6a06-bb0f-4c7b-95b9-128a32150102 1/1/2015 10:46 PM
Chosen solution
The crash report flagged these programs;
Process Type plugin Shockwave Flash Version:16.0.0.305
I see you had updated; plugin Shockwave Flash Version:16.0.0.257
If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
https://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Disable Flash from running by using an addon Flash Block or one another Video without Flash PS: I dont see flash is installed into your browser . Download it from Adobe Flash

Thank you all for your replies and the effort you made to help me. I tried all sorts of your suggestions, but I don't know enough about computers to even understand some of the links. I couldn't get Firefox to work with the Shockwave on either of my laptops, but thank goodness, everything loads and works fine in Internet Explorer. The problem only occurs when I make photo albums on Snapfish, which I am able to do as long as I use Internet Explorer on my new Asus computer.
