When setting up account for email or mail.com I have both, it puts in the correct settings but when you press done it comes up with this

"Incoming server already exists."

I then went to manual settings press retest and try and press done again same answer "Incoming server already exists."

i tried to press advanced config button and get same message

have set up multiple email addresses even one I had to set manually so i have done this before but this time the system has me stumped

Chosen solution

I have just gone back to try again and it worked first time, I did nothing special.

The first time i tried I could not get the password right, by the time I got it right was when I had the problem.

The only thing different this time is that i have restarted the computer and now i put in the password right the first time.

the only thing I can think of is that it had not reset after i put in the wrong password.

hope this helps other people

have a look in Tools menu (alt+T)> account settings and see if you have an account configured with the same name. A name change in there might be all that is needed.
