Are you running Symantec End-Point Protection? Those crash reports indicate the IPSEng32.dll file may have triggered those crashes.

Or an anti-malware application? http://community.norton.com/en/forums/malware-ipseng32dll

yes, i have been using symantec end point since many years. tried running firefox by disabling symantec with same issue as well. any thought of what should i do next?

Are the crash report signatures the same with EndPoint disabled?

Does that IPSEng32.dll file show up in red in the Modules tab in the new crash reports?

more options

yes, the crash report is the same. not sure how to check IPSEng32.dll file in red but i do not see anything visible. upon launching firefox, the crach error comes up and then closes the window

hi, according to mozilla engineers looking into the associated bug report, this crash is most likely caused by malware that is active on a system.

so please run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner, & kaspersky security scan.

again, it's most likely malware on a system causing those symptoms. we are no malware removal experts here, so if the tips from Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware didn't help, please contact a specialised forum like http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/79/security/ for further help. thank you!
