How do I add "Junk" to the choices on the lin directly below the emails?

On the line directly below the area reserved for email messages are words which give Thunderbird a command on what is to happen next. For example, one command is: Reply. That gives Thunderbird notice to prepare an email template to be sent to the writer of the email in question. There are times when the command “Junk” is one of the commands listed, but I would like to see it there all the time. Is that a possibility? With the profusion of junk mail, anything that would be helpful to cope with junk mail would be welcome.

Of interest is when it is not there. is it replaced by a not junk button as the mail is already flagged as junk?
