Box filelink authorisation not working

I can't set up my Box account to send files. I've created the Box account but when I select it and try to set up Filelink I just get a constant 'checking authorisation' message that doesn't end. I've seen other users have the same question, and the response has been to use Dropbox instead. That seems like a workaround rather than a solution. If you have an agreement with Box to integrate with T-Bird that's replaced the old agreement with Hightail (which worked), can we have a solution to this problem?

I have the same problem, however I get the same forever "checking authorization" when attempting to set up FileLink with either my Box acount or my Dropbox account using the latest add-on.

I'm using Thunderbird 38.7.2, Windows XP (yeah I no, and no I'm not going to upgrade to Windows 10)

Does Filelink work at all? If not, I'll turn off the reminder to use it when attaching a large file and go back to my simpleminded of uploading the file I'd like to attach to Dropbox and then simply including the download link in my e-mail message.

Update to Thunderbird 45.

Oh, for Pete's sake! I just checked for updates three days ago and it updated me to 37.1.2 or whatever it was. I was on the ESR channel so I wouldn't get an update every few days, and when I checked today, I'm now on the Release channel and it gave me 45.0. However, it indeed let me set up Box for Filelink.

Nothing like up-to-date information.
